Andrew Naymick leads Nymburk over Praha, Czech Republic!

Andrew Naymick led Nymburk in final game of season with 19 points and 12 rebounds for a 84-77 win over USK Praha. Nymburk rapped up regular season with a 34-2 record. Nymburk heads into playoffs now which will start on April 14 against Levice.

Cooper Land, Anthony Lee-Ingram and Jamie Andrisevic lead Asker Aliens to final. Norway!

Congratulations to Land, Lee-Ingram and Andrisevic for leading the Asker Aliens in Norway to the championship game. Unfortunately, the Aliens did not win the game, but went down fighting in a tight game, 80-78. This was the sixth time in last 10 years the Aliens had either won or been to the championship game. Even more significant is the fact that Jamie Andrisevic was in his first year as coach and led the team to an overall 15-6 record for a second place finish and a trip to the championship.

Best players of Norwegian BLNO round 16!

Anthony Lee-Ingram had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Asker Aliens and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16. The 24 year old forward had a double-double of 26 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team edged out Tromso (#4, 9-6) 78-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Asker Aliens to consolidate first place in the Norwegian BLNO. Asker Aliens have a solid 14-3 record. In the team's last game Lee-Ingram had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Asker Aliens' top player in his first season with the team. Brescia University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lee-Ingram is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.1ppg and leads league in rebounds with 12.6rpg. Lee-Ingram is in league's top in and averages solid 70.2% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Asker Aliens' star - 23-year old American forward Cooper Land. Land impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Lee-Ingram he helped Asker Aliens with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Ammerud Bskt (#7, 2-14) 81-53. Of course Asker Aliens still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just three games this season, while they won 14 matches. Land is a newcomer at Asker Aliens and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.5ppg (#3). He also registered 8.6 boards per game.

Flowers number one in Sweden for round 28!

American swingman Jonte Flowers put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Solna, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 28. The 26-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Uppsala (#7, 14-14) 88-74. Solna is placed at 3rd position in Swedish Basketligan and they have won 7 in a row since Jonte has joined the club. Solna and all other teams are in a horse race to the finish with 7 teams all with similar records. Jonte Flowers averages this season 21.7ppg and 6.0rpg and is the number one scorer in the league.

BBC Nyon - Sean Barnett leads the Geneve Lions over BBC Nyon, 73-55. Switzerland!

The game in Nyon was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Geneve Lions (12-5) played at the court of 8th ranked BBC Nyon (2-15). Geneve Lions did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 73-55. The game was mostly controlled by Geneve Lions. BBC Nyon was better in second period 11-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded BBC Nyon 39-21 including a 25-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Geneve Lions brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American forward Sean Barnette (195-86, college: Wingate, agency: Warren Sports International) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds.
